Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • ½ cup Butter softened
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Sprinkles

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.
  5. Fold in the sprinkles gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
